As is true for any great city in America, Denver has a host of outstanding attractions designed to appeal to visitors and, in many cases, locals, as well. In fact, there is so much to see and do, it may be difficult for a tourist (business or vacation traveler) to see and do everything.

However, it’s worth noting everything that is available. If you can budget your time sensibly, you may be able to find a way to stop at every site mentioned here. And while many great attractions are noted in this article, it doesn’t cover everything. There is more to see. · Spend the morning skiing at Loveland Ski Resort. It’s a short trip from downtown Denver, part of the Majestic Rocky Mountains and packed with trails to fit the ability of every skier. You’ll also find restaurants and comfortable lodging in the area.
.· Enjoy Breakfast in Historic LoDo. This once badly rundown section has been beautifully restored and is now just a short ride from Loveland. So … you can ski in the morning … take the quick trip over to Lodo for a relaxing and delicious brunch … then stroll the streets of this lovely section of town for some terrific shopping bargains.
· Solve a Murder Mystery at a Dinner Theater. Two of the best dinner theaters in Denver are the Lumber Baron Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and the Adams Mystery Playhouse. Performers interact with diners at the Lumber Baron and the murder mystery has a comedy-filled component at the Adams. Dinner is exceptional at both locations and a fun evening is virtually guaranteed for every dinner guest.
· See Real Cowboys at Black Hawk. This tiny city of less than 300 people is a “real Cowboy town” with gambling casinos and lodging. In fact, Black Hawk has more casinos that Atlantic City … wonderful lodging and dining … gambling galore … and, of course, cowboys.
· Shop at the Amazing 16th Street Mall. There are shops and fine dining everywhere along this 16 block outdoor pedestrian mall. There is so much to see and do that it is easy to spend an entire day just “roaming around.”
· Experience the Luxury of Cherry Creek. Go on over to one of Denver’s best neighborhoods. You’ll find truly superior dining … first-class shopping … and luxury hotels.
· Enjoy Denver’s Botanical Gardens. Beautifully maintained, it has been rated one of the Top Ten Botanical Gardens in the United States.
· Have fun at Elitch Gardens. Every trip to Denver needs to include a stop at this fun-filled Amusement Park that is loaded with thrilling rides … games … arcades … and just plain fun.
· See Where the Money is Made. Top off your stay in Denver with a trip to the U.S. Mint. Visitors are welcome for guided tours. And you’ll be able to see where your money gets minted.
